Abstract

This study aimed to identify The extent to which students of practical education possess contemporary teaching strategies from the point of view of supervisors of the practical education course in the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University. The researchers used the descriptive survey method for its suitability and the nature of the study. The researcher distributed the study tool electronically to the study sample of (37) faculty members. In the Faculty of Physical Education at Yarmouk University, Where the results indicated that the level of possession by students of the field application of contemporary teaching strategies was average, and indicated that there were statistically significant differences according to the variable of scientific rank in favor of the members whose scientific rank (teacher). The faculty members whose experience ranged between (5 - less than 10), while the results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant differences according to the gender variable. The researchers recommended taking advantage of the energies and motives of teachers of different academic ranks in developing and improving teaching strategies that are compatible with scientific and theoretical courses.
